I finally found some time to sneak down to my craft room to get a few cards made! Here are two quick samples using products from the soon to be released catalog! Can you tell that I was in a "pink" mood?

New In Colors!!

I finally have found some time to stamp with the new In Colors! I ADORE them! Kiwi Kiss is so much fun! Riding Hood Red is such a nice, rich, red color! Pacific Point really makes me want to go to the beach and Baja Blue is a nice cool blue shade! Pink Pirouette reminds me of a sweet little baby girl and Tangerine Tango makes me think about our favorite family drink "Fraternity Punch"! (If you've never experienced the Horner Fraternity Punch, you are missing out!).

This card uses all of the awesome colors! I used the Stampamajig to help me line up the "flowers". The stamp set is also NEW! It is called Wow Flowers and it comes in both the English and Spanish versions! Yep, Stampin' UP! is releasing a catalog of Spanish Language stamps! How cool is that?

I had to add this picture! My sister is in town with Claire and we hung out on my parents deck with her yesterday! The kids had a great time in the baby pool and the big ball sprinkler! my boys just love their little cousin! Aren't they adorable?

The longest holiday weekend EVER!

Is it just me or does it seem like this has been a VERY long holiday weekend? We had tons of fun things to since we woke up on Friday morning! So, today the Wiemann Family took a well needed rest! The boys (Erich included) hung out and watched tv, played video games, and destroyed...I mean played in the playroom! I even got to take a short nap! Great day, right?

I also got a chance to read my new Papercrafts Magazine! I loved some of the cards in there so I tried to make my own versions! Here they are...!

This one was made by stamping the bird from Always and then cutting him out. I then placed him (yes, it's a boy bird!) on my whisper white cardstock and sponged around him. In the example in Papercrafts, they had airbrushed around the bird. I don't have an airbrush, so I improvised!
















This one is super simple. I had these pink beads and thought that I would never get a chance to use them! Well, my friend had a baby girl a few days ago so I finally got the opportunity! Beads are harder to work with than I thought! Maybe I should have used a different adhesive. Hmmm.
















I really wish I would have had the camera available for the drama in our house this evening. Daddy was doing haircuts on the deck after dinner and we had a minor accident! He was cutting JP's hair with the #1 1/2 guard and it flew off right as he put the razor to his head. He then had a 2" circle "spot" shaved on the top of his head! JP probably wouldn't have cared except that Erich and could not stop laughing. He then totally freaked out! After we calmed him down, he let Erich put on the #1 guard and "the spot" kind of blends in now! It was SOOO funny!

Happy 4th of July!

I hope that you all have a fun and safe 4th of July! We started our celebration early this morning with a fun Swim Team Event! JP and I participated in a Relay-A-Thon to help raise funds for MS! We had such a great time! Here is a picture of the swimmers! Aren't they a great group of kids?















I also have 2 projects to share today! We are attending a few 4th of July parties this weekend so I wanted to a make a few hostess gifts! This one is a "Box In A Bag". I found the tutorial this blog! It was super easy to make!
